As the gameplay is story based, you are given tasks to complete. These are fairly simply missions where you just click on the objective and select the task you were asked to complete from the menu. Get it from us, these are just point and select quests, there nothing to them compared to other story drivers titles. The stories the Sims tell you are simple and happy stories. They kept us going forward once we got the hang of it. Some Sims had a very simple routine, which when followed will max out their skills. Some other Sims though needed a little more thinking and some others we still do not understand how to go about them. All-in-all though, they will happily keep you occupied for hours. If you are a fan of the franchise, then you get to play something different with this Sims Medieval download for PC.

Apart from being a life simulator like the core franchise titles, Sims Medieval also gets into the RPG territory with its story driven quests. One of the things that they have trimmed down in order to accommodate the story quests, are the basic needs. You just have to worry about hunger and energy. Using the bathroom is optional. You do not have to make your Sim have fun to keep the mood upbeat. Also different is the way you control the characters. You cannot just select any sim you want to play like in the other titles. You can only play as the Hero Sims that are related to the current quests you are playing. Go ahead and get Sims Medieval free download, see how that works out and let us know if you like it more.

Concluding

Hi, I’m using Windows 10 and I tried to mount it, but there’s no option for that. It appeared as Disc Image File, and when I try to open it, it didn’t lead me anywhere. Please help me. I’m at my loose ends. Do you have a tutorial video to download this game?

  4. awmanCreeper says:

hello, i’m not sure what to do after installing the game. it says to copy and paste the files in the crack folder to where i installed the game, but i’m not sure if i’m doing it right? the files i’m copying are rld-tsmk.exe, TSLHost.dll, and TSM.ex_

then the file i’m assuming it should be copied into has the following files: reloaded.nfo, rld-tsmk.iso, and tsmedieval.jpg.

Sims Medieval running in background only and not starting. what to do? 🙁

    • admin says:

Turn antivirus off and install again.

      • ks123 says:

if i enable my anti virus, will the game stop working again?

        • admin says:

Add the folder to exclusion list, that way antivirus wont delete the required files. Then you can enable it.

      • ks123 says:

i followed this, and it still wont work. it worked out fine when i first played it but the next day it just wont work. the launcher would open up but when i press the play button, nothing happens. :(((

  15. Lue says:

When I downloaded it, it runs fine without updating. But after updating to the newest version (2.0), it forces it to the background. Anyway around this?

  16. olivia says:

it says i have to enter a registration code? and i downloaded from here? should i re-download it again for it to work?

  17. Liv says:

Sad that everything is installed correctly but when i go to load up the game it won’t pop up and when I use launcher it just says game is already running. Good to know I was so close to getting working sad I’m just probably going to have to buy the game.

    • admin says:

Restart PC, then disable antivirus and follow steps from the video starting 4:57
      See if that helps.

    • Steph says:

That happens to me when i play certain games, go to task manager and click the processes tab, then choose the sims medieval and end the process, then try again. Hope this helps!

  18. Steph says:

    TYSM!

  19. Sonita888 says:

So, I tried this a few times and I always get the same thing: The launcher opens, the game doesn’t launch after hitting play.

    A few things to note:
    – I have put the entire folder in my anti virus exemption list
    – I copied the stuff from the “crack” folder from the pirates and noble download, although the “Bin” folder in which I copied it into, had more stuff in it than what the video shows (for example a “bin” subfolder).
Also, when I copied this, I got a sign that read: “An unexpected error is keeping you from copying the file. If you continue to receive this error, you can use the error code to search for help with this problem.
“Error 0x800700E1: Operation did not complete successfully because the file contains a virus or potentially unwanted software.” (the antivirus had already exempted the file)
    rld.dll

    – There is no “TSM.exe” to launch the game, just a “TSM” option. (IDK if this is because od the error previously mentioned)

    • admin says:

The exe is part is hidden due to Windows setting, dont worry about it.
Uninstall everything that you have installed and delete Sims Medieval folder from Documents\Electronic Arts folder.
Turn you antivirus off. Then install main game and then the DLC. Make sure you are choosing the folder to install the DLC correctly or it wont work.
Dont know what you are talking about bin folder inside the bin folder, if you are seeing that, then you did something wrong.

      • Sonita888 says:

What do you mean to choose the folder correctly to install?

        • Sonita888 says:

And what I mean with the sibfolder, is that there are a bunch of other things in the Bin (upper case) folder, including another folder also called bin (lower case) where you have other folder with languages in it. IDK what it is.

        • admin says:

That is what we are saying, uninstall everything and follow the video exactly.

        • admin says:

When installing the DLC, see what is done in the tutorial video, the main game folder is chosen not any other folder inside it or the the folder that it already shown when installing.

    Thanks!

  21. balalala says:

hello, im here to ask because my TSM dont want to opens suddenly it saids its missing rld.dll. how i fix it thank you

    • admin says:

Uninstall it and turn antivirus off and then install everything again. You need to install the DLC as well.

      • balalala says:

thank you but when i unistall it, ihave another problem that is TSM.ex_file doesn’t want to removed after several time like the setup doesn’t work again

  22. Lily says:

I followed the video completely and turned off my antivirus, but it still will not let me open it.

    • admin says:

If you get error with missing file, then antivirus blocked it or deleted the file. Figure out what is happening the the copied files and copy files again as told in step 5.

  23. Asher says:

    Thank you in advance 🙂

  24. Jackolene says:

I downloaded it and it worked fine for the first day. I saved and exited and now the game won’t open. I clicked on the sims launcher and it opens the sims play button but when I click on the play button nothing is happening. I restarted my computer and tried again but same thing. When I click on the play button for the second time it says the game is already running but it is not. I don’t know what to do to fix it so I can continue playing.

  25. Sophie says:

I followed the video and turned off my anti-virus but when i click on TSM.exe i get an error message: “Failed to initialize !”
