This is the ninth expansion pack released so far and features elements that let you live in an Eco-friendly way. Eco Lifestyle was announced in May 2020 with a trailer on May 6. It was welcomed with a lot of backlash from the fans for using recycled ideas and items. Simmers are already used to these ideas in Island Living Expansion as well as in Tiny Living. Another sore point was the announcement about community-selected pack called Nifty Knitting. As per the simmers, they should have merged these two packs and released it together. Alas, we know about EAs money grabbing tactics already, so there is no point waiting for them to do something good for the community. You will start in the new world called Evergreen Harbor, which is environmentally in a bad shape. Your choices will depend on what your views are about the environment. Recycling is another new concept introduced and put on center stage of this new expansion. You can collect the trash and recycle it with items that are introduced with this new pack. In spite of all these additions, the Simmer were rightly upset with all these features, which they feel are already part of some of the previous packs in parts. We feel the same way and think EA should have bundled something better in an expansions pack instead of recycled ideas. Concluding
Even with a lot of the items that the Simmers were looking for are included in this new expansions, it misses the mark of what an expansion should be like. For that reason alone, they deserve the backlash they are getting on all the Sims forums.
Adding solar panels and wind turbines is a nice idea. The addition of eco footprint to the gameplay is also a good idea with all items you use showing the impact they have on environment. If you do not want to see any of this stuff, you can disable Eco Footprint from Game Options to keep your world clean. Downloading and Installing
Search for qBittorrent in Google, download and install it. Go to the links page using the link above, click only one link from there, and open it in your torrent software. Save the files on your hard disk and complete the downloading. Once finishes, stop the torrent. Go to the folder you used in the previous step and double click the ISO file you find there to get a DVD of full version of Sims 4 Eco Lifestyle PC download. Open that DVD, run setup and install. Once finishes, go to DVD again, copy everything from CODEX folder and paste it in the folder where you installed Sims 4 Eco Lifestyle free download on your PC.

Is there a link just for the Eco lifestyle on its own rather than all the other DLC. I have all the DLC that I downloaded with the Discover University and dont want to haave to uninstall it so I can fit this on my computer. Thank you.
