Works fine for me. Played the first level up to Ellie no problems. Windows 7 old Nvidia drivers. Blocked all executables firewall and ran.
as for windows 10, only block the small borderlands3.exe, not the big one.

Game is starting to a black window and then just shut off after that and nothing happend the process disappear in taskmanager

Updated GFX driver to latest. Using AMD RX 590. Now able to start. Will report back if playable….
for me it doesnt even open … bl3.exe its running but no image nothing ..
Got it working , update to the last nvidia drivers , then w8 like 40 seconds and then it will run , irony or not it worked with admin priv x'D !
CONFRIMATION: Working fully now. First launch did take awhile. Possibly Shader Compilation?

You need to block the exe in firewall or it does not start, the start up seems very slow but it is fully working after that.

Anyone know how to change ingame name from Codex? The machine to rename doesn’t work.

Updating NVIDIA’s drivers made the startup a lot faster.
If you can’t get it to launch, here’s a fix:
Go to:
C:\Users\\Documents\My Games\Borderlands 3\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor
Open GameUserSettings.ini
and change “PreferredGraphicsAPI=DX12” to “PreferredGraphicsAPI=DX11”
*If you have not managed to get it to launch at all, there might not be a folder, nor a “GameUserSettings” file.
Just create one.
Launch using the file from here

Also check if it is in DX12 mode, which is unstable and sometimes doesn’t work, Dx11 should be used
