Batman: Arkham Knight now coming in June 2015
The developers of Batman: Arkham Knight, Rocksteady Studios had decided to release the latest game in the series this year. They had only given a tentative schedule for the release which said the game might be released in Jan or Feb according to some sources. But now it has been revealed the launch has been delayed by up to 6 months and we might see the launch in June of 2015.
This is actually a good thing in our opinion as many games have been released recently and this game might have been lost the in crowd instead of getting the attention it should. So I honestly think that the release in June is a prefect one for the gamers, as well as the developers and publishers.
Batman: Arkham Knight is going to be the final chapter in this Batman: Arkham trilogy that the developers had promised us and it’s going to be a hell of a finale they said. This is going to be a great game that we will be waiting eagerly for.
The game is going to feature a story that will show Batman, who is at peak of his abilities. The story takes place after a year from the events of the previous chapter Batman: Arkham City. This is the time when a band of villains comes together to destroy the city and kill Batman once and for all.
There are certain bonuses included for those who go the pre-order way. You get the Red hook pack of stories also you will be able to play as the vigilante. There will also be one Scarecrow Nightmare Pack which will be exclusively available for PlayStation platform where as you might have guessed you will face against the mighty and scary villain himself as well as his goons.
Delaying the release is a good thing in my opinion but waiting 9 months for the release is going to be bad for some of the fans who have been waiting to play the final chapter. But if delaying is going to bring a more refined experience for us to play then we are all for it. We have seen how the premature release of the new Assassins Creed Unity as well as Call of Duty Advanced Warfare was received by the gaming community. Bashing both these titles for the bugs and black, grey screens you get throughout was the theme after the games were released to the masses.
There are plenty of games on offer in the near future i.e. Jan-Feb-March 2015 so a delayed launch is all good for the publishers who will be vying for the greatest success story with this final release of the game in the series.
